Upgrading allows you to undertake the quizzes and assessments of the corresponding eLearning course and, on successful completion, you will be awarded with an increasingly recognised and respected qualification.

Driving Green Fee Revenues

Delegates of the "Driving Green Fee Revenues" course will need to undertake 48 self-assessed questions relating to all chapters of the book.

In addition, they will be required to submit an end-of-course assignment asking for a full annual green fee advertising & promotional plan for a real or fictitious club. This needs to include narrative explaining the thought processes behind:

  • Each of the promotional concepts
  • The type of supporting collateral required
  • The media/communication channels chosen
  • Timing of the promotion/advertising
  • Your target audience

Also, it is to include terms & conditions for each promotion.

The plan will be submitted through Promote Training's eLearning system either in Microsoft Word, Excel or a combination of both.

The assignment will be marked by an Associate Course Tutor and, if successful, you will be awarded the "Certificate in Driving Green Fee Revenues" from Promote Training.

On completion of this course, PGA Professionals will be provided with valid supporting evidence and information from us so that it can be added as a structured formal learning opportunity on their CPD records.

Generating Membership Leads

Delegates of the "Generating Membership Leads" course will need to undertake 46 self-assessed questions relating to all chapters of the book.

In addition, they will be required to submit an end-of-course assignment asking for a full annual membership advertising & promotional plan for a real or fictitious club. This needs to include:

  • A definition of your target audience, explaining what factors may have influenced this from your appraisal of the existing membership base.
  • Show each of the membership products/categories you intend to offer along with their associated benefits & privileges.
  • Create the pricing points for each membership product alongside the visitor and guest green fee price, and illustrate how they 'fit' together without conflicting with each other.
  • Explain each of the outbound promotional campaigns along with a commentary on the supporting collateral that may be required, the media/communication channels you will use and the rationale behind the timing of the campaign.
  • Outline the membership lead generation initiatives you will undertake to encourage potential leads to visit, or make contact with, the club.
  • Include a full member-referral programme for the year, including a commentary on each promotion/initiative and how it will be communicated to members.
  • Create an "In the Community" section to the plan, explaining the various initiatives and events that you intend to stage and/or participate in.

The plan will be submitted through Promote Training's eLearning system either in Microsoft Word, Excel or a combination of both.

Tee Time Management

Delegates of the "Tee Time Management" course will need to submit their answers to a 46-question assessment test. This covers all aspects covered in the book.

The test does not have a time limit and can be completed by the delegate at their own pace.

Answers will be marked by an Associate Course Tutor and, if successful, you will be awarded the "Certificate in Tee Time Management" from Promote Training.

On completion of this course, PGA Professionals will be provided with valid supporting evidence and information from us so that it can be added as a structured formal learning opportunity on their CPD records.
